Our New Years Adventures

2004...

Can you say COLD?
This winter has been cold 'like ya read about'.

New England Trailblazers started off the year with a *bang* by having a New Years sleep over. We all gathered at the Stein's in Bennington Vermont to ring in the New Year with food and drink and drink and food. Oh yeah, and Jello shots.

Saturday the 3rd the team rallied to travel to the All Dogs Gym one day tourny. Fortunately, the dogs were in better shape than we were and they put in an admirable performance to take 1st and 2nd in Regular Division One and a 1st in Multi-Division One.

At the end of the month we traveled again to All Dogs Gym. Gluttons for punishment, we ran four teams...

Making a return from retirement ( shaking off the moth balls) were Lacey and Tequila. Thyme was borrowed from the 'B' team and Reilly is back from a stint on Granite State Racers. Noah (4 years old) handled Tequila for the first time and was a real crowd pleaser. Congrats to all of the 'Seniors' (and Juniors!) on the team.

Jillian Gulliver, our newest team member, handled the Stein's dogs Kiri and Express with aplomb.

The results were a 1st and 3rd in Reg. Division One, a 1st in Multi-Division One and a 3rd for the 'Seniors' in Division Three.

High note of the Tourny (and to help heat things up) was the 'A' team running a 15.98 and having our green dogs run like pros.

Now we have to hunker down and wait for the road trips to begin. It is shaping up to be another fun filled, adventure packed year for the team in red and black.

Stay tuned...film at 11.
