Kathryn has known Pyro since the second he was born. While originally she wasn't going to keep a puppy, he wormed his way into her heart and then her household. We're not sure if Pyro is characteristic of most Borderjacks, but he seems to have the focus of a border collie, tenacity of a Jack and is by far the busiest dog in our household. At times we wonder if he is part cat, he tends to clean himself after meals, pounces on ball with his front two feet and snuggles into a little ball on your lap for pets. You can turn him 'on' on a dime and while he has an off-switch it tend to stick in the on position at times. By the way, did we mention he's the busiest dog in the household?
