IDC Atlanta Trip

Diana Tyson

Home base: Candia, NH
Dogs: Arrow, Kiwi, Rocco

Did someone say "Let's go?" Where are we going? Does it matter? Me and the 'gang', as I affectionately call my three dogs Rocco, Kiwi and Arrow, are always ready to go on an adventure. The farther away the better.

For myself the best trip ever devised would include dog sports...some form of horseback riding...a mountain or two...a blender (can't forget the blender) and good friends.

I found Flyball in the spring of 1998. Having just lost my Rottweiller, Lola Von Loudon, to old age, I was seeking solace in playing with my then three-year-old Jack Russell, Rocco. I owe a ton of thanks to Jean MacKenzie of All Dogs Gym and Barb Black of ARFF for introducing me to dog sports and for my 'gangs' current success in those activities. They always have been and continue to be an inspiration to new and old dog owners. They certainly were my inspiration.

Me? I'm just a semi-disgruntled Postal Worker. I dabble in anything that looks like fun...flyball, agility, horseback riding of all kinds, hiking, martial arts, running, lifting, writing, outdoor adventures. I have a B.A. in advertising that looks simply lovely on the wall and apparently that will be its only function (wallpaper). You can find me running, riding and even occasionally sleeping! in Leominster, MA. Better yet, listen for the Jimmy Buffett tunes and the whirring blender...that's where you'll find me and 'the gang'.
